SUMMER PROJECTS Tommy's working on some new accoustic songs with Free and getting ready for a phtoto exhibit at Open Studio this fall. Details are on the Photos page, along with links to some of his latest work, including,The Mermen at City Center and Matt Gonzalez with Titch at Dylans, among others. Mari is going to Florida to work on the Beaux Arts Book. "Liberty Bound" premiered in Hollywood and is making the rounds on the liberal circuit this summer.

AMERICAN ROOTS - Songs from the heart and soul. Tommy has been writing songs for years that describe the frustration and betrayal people feel when they know they are being lied to, and don't know what to do about it. The futility of caring can be overwhelming at times. Some samples are on the Roots Page.

SHARKBAIT Bites Tommy’s song ”Listen to You“ from the Sharkbait CD is on Songsalive Compilation CD Six. He's in great company. Check out the tracks online: Songsalive Sampler. Look for some showcase appearances soon. We will have a new full-screen version of the "Listen to You" video real soon.

All Original Rock Band RUDE DOG Rocks ! How long has it been since you saw a band that had SINGERS? Not a lead singer with backup singers, but three lead vocalists who can really sing. Rude Dog is such a band. Three lead signers from three local bands got together to play and record some of Tommy D’s new songs, and something amazing happened. They all saw the same vision — a band with strong vocal harmonies like the Beatles and the Beach Boys? Tommy D, of Tommy D NOW, Flipside Freddie, Andrew Haslett, and Patrick Newhart, used Motown’s formula of Rock and R&B with rich harmonies, added a touch of reggae to some of Tommy's songs to created their new sound.
